Hello!
We use Logshipping and our source database grows and grows.
Same at the logshipped side.
We put some extra disks in the source server and everything is fine.
Now the problem:
The logshipped database is in standby mode, how can i add or more datafiles
on a different physical disk? I think that's not possible.
The 2nd attempt was to setup logshipping from scratch.
There is a point - create new database in the Logshipping wizard.
But at this point i could only set one datafile.
There is also an article, that you could not script logshipping.
The only solution I found is not beautiful but could maybe works.
"Mount a second disk as Path in an empty folder on disk1",
we don't like that solution.
Any ideas to solve that problem?

Max,
To use the log-shipped server as a standby, you really should give it the
same data file configuration that you gave the primary. The problem is that
you have to write to the database to add data files to it. So you're going
to have to reinitialize log shipping, I think.
